Beyond Photography aims to showcase and explore the many ways in which photography is used in contemporary art. The show is comprised of works which use photography in unconventional ways. The material may include alternative photographic processes, digital composites, or encaustic, as well as mixed media and others. Photography is the basis or primary inspiration for each piece.

Platform Gallery, Month of March: Beth Liggitt / Wyld Blue Studio: Beth Liggitt is a jewelry and glass artist with a background in graphic design and a true love of the west! In love with metal and glass all her life, she sees each of her handmade pieces as an expression of love. Creating in fine metals and semi precious and precious stones, and incorporating vintage and found objects, Beth links traditional jewelry methods with a unique aesthetic. She began working in traditional metalworking techniques as a high school student, and went on to explore and create in art glass. She creates one of a kind pieces by commission and from her heart in her studio in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.
