ALL ARTS FESTIVAL ~ 2nd YEAR MANAGED BY THE SSAC

An eclectic art affair created to delight all the  senses, where Aerial Dance and music fill the mountain air, culinary delights ignite the taste buds, literary arts spark the imagination and visual creations burst with color.

 A collaborative event, the All Arts Festival encompasses the rich culture of Steamboat’s visual, music, and performance arts while featuring nationally-known artists in an idyllic mountain setting. Enjoy partner events, pop-up performances, art stations and workshops, listen to amazing musicians, browse the Yampa Art Stroll and be sure not to miss the CREATIVE MIXOLOGY signature event during this eclectic art affair.

If you enjoy the arts, this event in Steamboat combines all facets of arts and culture into one festival. 

Ongoing - week of Festival

• 8:30am - 12:30pm • Steamboat Springs Arts Council presents Young at Art Creativity Camp - Steamboat Stage with Scott Parker, Depot Art Center

• Perry-Mansfield Family Camp –  (ages 4-12, or 13+ in residence at the camp)

• 4pm – 6pm Art stations, various locations

Thursday, Aug 18

• 4pm – 6pm Art stations - VISUAL ART, various locations

• 5:30pm - Seminars in Steamboat presents “Inequality and the American Dream”, Strings Pavilion (tickets available at 5:15p.m.)

• 7:00pm - The Chief Players present The Secret of Yonder Mountain: A Live Western Melodrama, The Chief Theater. Great family fun for ALL ages!!!

Friday, August 19

• “Midday at the Museums”:

• 11am - guided tour of the Steamboat Art Museum - Plein Air Painters of America (PAPA) with refreshments (8th and Lincoln)

• 11:45am- walk one block to Tread of Pioneers Museum for an art-themed Brown Bag lecture at noon (8th and Oak) Local artist and arts organizer Chula Beauregard presents “A Celebration of Routt County’s Heritage and Community Through Visual Art.”

• 4pm – 6pm Art stations - LITERARY ART, various locations

• 5-7pm Creative Mixology - a creative party celebrating all art forms - with a spotlight on aerial, Depot Art Center - PURCHASE TICKETS

• 8pm - Steamboat Student Film Festival presents a screening of the 15 award-winning films from this year's 4th annual Film Fest. The maximum film length is 10 minutes, and most are only a few minutes long, but you will be impressed and amazed at the creativity and production value that today's top high school filmmaker's bring to the screen, Bud Werner Memorial Library

Saturday, August 20

• 10am - 5pm - Yampa River Fine Art Stroll, on the Yampa river, downtown

• 10:00am - Noon - Steamboat Movement Fest  and Steamboat Springs Arts Council present, Yoga and Mala Making workshop, The Depot Art Center

• 1:00pm - Steamboat Springs Arts Council presents, Aerial workshop, details here 

• 4pm – 6pm Art stations - PERFORMANCE ART, various locations

• 8:00pm - Strings Music Festival presents Lake Street Dive (Soul / Pop / Motown) - Strings Music Pavilion 

Sunday, August 21

• 10am - 5pm - Yampa River Fine Art Stroll, on the Yampa river, downtown

• 7 - 9am - Steamboat Springs Arts Council presents, Sunrise Aerial Photography Workshop, location and details to be announced

• 3pm - Off the Beaten Path presents a Local Author Showcase - featuring 3 local authors in a panel-style event, Off the Beaten Path Bookstore

• 4pm – 6pm Art stations - MUSIC, various locations

• 6:00pm - Steamboat String Quartet presents a dinner and performance concert. 6pm reception, concert 6:30 - 8:30 at Harwigs
